School Life, Ma’am Quinto

Before the sem ended, I thought I was going to flunk my Bio 1 class. It was really difficult, especially for a no good music major who is absolutely oblivious about science such as I. We all have our strengths and weaknesses right? (lol for the need to justify). BUUUT I’m just so glad to have passed it with a grade of 2.5. I thought I was a goner. It was one of the major highlights of my life this 2010 *tears of joy*

Anyway. As of now, I’m in my last semester for college (that is IF I can have my recital on April and I’m fighting against time to the death) and I thought it was gonna be a smooth-sailing end for me but when this sem began, my piano professor, Ma’am Quinto got diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. :( It really broke my heart and the hearts of all her students (and the entire college for that matter). It was a really shocking news. We did a fund-raising concert for her chemotherapy, which she is still undergoing up to now. We love you ma’am Quinto! And we pray for your speedy recovery.

As of now, I’m under THE Jourdann Petalver, a pianist who graduated in Italy and loves to party. Haha! Joke lang sir!  

Also, I had the chance to be a ghost pianist with Rico Blanco again for ASAP around December but we (his band and I) weren’t really seen on camera so… :p
